I went on a trip to Zion National Park with Jeremy, Wes, and Joanne (Wes' wife) March 12-14. It seems a trip to a Utah State park is becoming tradition for us in the early Spring. This is our 3rd year traveling to a state park in Spring. Its a perfect time to go! The weather is beautiful. Its not too warm. The sun in the warmer areas of the state feels better than the temperatures at home.
One of my most favorite things on this trip was waking up before my friends and going on a morning run. Our hotel was inside the canyon and right outside the Zion National Park entrance. As I ran I watched the sun rise over the walls of the canyon. It was fantastic to be the only person outside. It was like I was in my own private world. And the beauty of the sun marking the canyon walls was an incredible sight to see! It was so amazing to see the sun paint the walls of the cayon as it rose for the day.
Here's some pictures of our trip:

A beautiful arch

Big rocks and some more being under the waterfall

An artist painting in the Park

You can't see it, but to my left is the waterfall we hiked to.
I'm on my belly because I was too scared to walk and stand at the edge. Somehow laying on my stomach was not as scary for me to crawl to the edge.
After crawling to the edge I managed to sit up and have my picture taken
.
